I have a great deal of experience working with all age groups and abilities in a variety of settings including education, healthcare, care homes, as well as community groups such as friendship and support groups, play schemes, etc. I enjoy designing workshops that inspire participants to explore their creativity and develop the confidence to try new skills. Projects range from painting, drawing, mixed media/collage to 3D forms and mosaics.
Here are just a few of the projects that I’ve undertaken:
- A series of watercolour painting workshops with a women’s group at Pembrokeshire Hafal Tenby.
- An introduction to painting for NIACE adult learners.
- Expressions painting workshops, The Druidstone Hotel, Pembrokeshire.
- Pembroke Dock Midsummer Festival workshops with Sand Palace Arts.
- Holiday play schemes art and craft days, for example The Badgers Play Scheme.
- Family creative activities including Pembroke Dock Community School “Springboard” Mosaic Project.
- Celtic themed tryptic with residents of Marine House Care Home, Rosemarkie, funded by Groam House Museum.
